Desde pequeña, Ingrid ha sido testigo de cómo su padre planificaba y ejecutaba obras públicas utilizando la esteatita como principal materia prima. La diseñadora Ingrid Peixoto ha decidido transformar esta impresionante materia prima y su experiencia en su utilización, combinada con la madera maciza de Angelim, para crear hermosas piezas decorativas para centros de mesa y ambientes que buscan un toque de refinamiento y sofisticación. Ella firma el proyecto y coordina y supervisa la fabricación de cada detalle que se produce.
El estudio tiene su sede en Garopaba, Santa Catarina, Brasil. La carpintería surgió como una necesidad debido a la falta de mano de obra disponible dispuesta a producir muebles. Comenzó dibujando y diseñando muebles. La producción consiste en la elaboración manual de muebles y piezas decorativas utilizando técnicas tradicionales de carpintería.
Geometric Vases - These handmade vases are made with teak wood, an alternative source of wood from a reforestation area. Beyond the aesthetic aspect of teak of having unique color tones and textures in each piece, it has a lot of silica - an natural oil that acts preventing the penetration of excess moisture and also repels termites and insects. Thus, teak becomes the perfect wood to be used as a flower pot. The forms are inspired by the natural geoforms, such as rocks and crystals.

Garopaba has a history closely tied to the sea, whether it be fishing, tourism/beach activities, surfing, or whale watching. It is a reference to the coastal region we are located in.
